Clovis West’s library is up and running. With our staff cut back this year we are operating with a full time LMT (moi), a six hour library tech and a 3 hr. textbook tech. Challenges are many, but we are providing what we hope is a quality library experience for our terrific kids and staff. So far we have had classes in the library researching topics as varied as “Leadership Activities” for the Peer Counseling class, “Arthurian Legends” for English honors 9 and “Mental Health Topics” for Health classes. Many more – these are just examples. Our textbooks are all distributed as they have been since week 2 of school, and kids are crammed in here every morning before school to use our 40 computer work stations and study for class. A good beginning I would say!
